pdf417 encoder

The pdf417 encoder is a slim piece of software that creates out from a text input a pdf417 barcode postscript output. The pdf417 barcode can save up to 2.000 ASCII signs in the code. It is possible to add/remove pixels through picture manipulation when converting it back change the text output.

IMPORTANT:
please recognize, that the actual programme will put itself in the folder 'examples'. In case you cannot find the programme (pdf417_enc) at all, download the pdf417_enc.txt executable from here and put it in the folder pdf417_enc.4.4; move pdf417_enc.txt to pdf417_enc and give it executive rights --> chmod a+x and call the programme with ./pdf417_enc input.txt output.pbm.
